Denial: Insufficient evidence
The specialist felt the before/after pair didn't clearly establish the damage was new or caused during the stay.
What to add (new evidence)
- Cleaner's signed, dated statement describing the discovery
- Additional photos from different angles of the same damage
- Neighbour statement about noise or activity during the stay
- A repair quote from a vendor you did not include originally
What not to do
- Do not resubmit the same photos with more text — the file is marked reviewed
- Do not include character attacks on the guest — lowers your credibility
- Do not inflate the claim amount on appeal; keep it identical to original
Appeal template
Hello, I am appealing the denial of claim [CLAIM-ID] within the 30-day appeal window. The original denial cited insufficient evidence. On review, I am submitting the following material that was not included in the original file: 1. [New evidence item 1] 2. [New evidence item 2] 3. [New evidence item 3] The attached documentation establishes: [one-sentence summary of what the new evidence proves]. I respectfully request the claim be reopened for review on the strength of this additional evidence. The original damage assessment and requested amount (€[AMOUNT]) remain unchanged. Thank you for your time.
If the appeal is also denied
